On February 2, 1995, the Bylsma family opened the doors of Canal Block on the former site of Port Colborne Block. Built on the principles of hard work, dedication, and uncompromised quality, our family-owned business has proudly served as one of Southern Ontario’s premier concrete masonry producers for over 30 years.

Following a major plant renovation, Canal Block manufactures 100% cement-free CarbiCrete CMUs alongside our traditional concrete lines, giving clients zero-cement options with a GWP up to 20x lower than the industry average.
